Published by Carl Fischer. Friedrich Dotzauer (1783 - 1860) is famous for his excellent set of 113 studies for the Cello. Though he composed a large number of other works for the cello, it is only his studies that remain a staple of cello pedagogy today -- even having found their way into a number of other collections of studies and etudes.
