The same rhythm will appear later in the book for review and then in one of the play-along tunes. This way each concept is reinforced and utilized in different ways. Because of the need to stress the importance of dynamics and their role in the proper execution of playing a piece, dynamic markings are included in many of the snare drum exercises.
